The Sustainable Business Network (SBN) is working with a coalition of stakeholders to get homeowners to go solar. SBN and our partners are organizing groups of homeowners in Mt. Airy, Germantown, and Chestnut Hill communities to use their collective buying power to equip their properties with solar systems. Going solar collectively has a major positive impact for communities: the economies of scale of group purchasing significantly reduce installation costs to save homeowners money. The decision to go solar also benefits more than the homeowner; it’s taking a stand for the future of our environment, economy, and communities.
This workshop is only for interested homeowners in Northwest Philladelphia (lunch provided). Future workshops/programs will focus on other neighborhoods of Philadelphia.
