The Sustainable Business Network (SBN) and Clean Air Council are working with a coalition of stakeholders to get homeowners to go solar. The partners are organizing groups of homeowners in Northwest Philadelphia to use their collective buying power to equip their properties with solar systems. Going solar collectively has a major positive impact for communities: the economies of scale of group purchasing significantly reduce installation costs to save homeowners money. The decision to go solar also benefits more than the homeowner; it’s taking a stand for the future of our environment, economy, and communities.
